We would like to pass along some information on various upcoming scientific conferences being held locally and nationally that may be of interest to our members:
Greater Boston Mass Spectrometry Discussion Group
Holds meetings though out the year. See their website at:
The HPLC conference is the largest meeting in the world dedicated to liquid phase separation science. The 32nd version of the International Symposium on High Performance Liquid Phase Separations and Related Techniques (HPLC 2008) will be held on May 10 - 16, 2008, in Baltimore, MD.
We would also like to take this opportunity to introduce MASSEP.org to a worthy endeavor here in Massachusetts, the Regional and State Science Fair organizations. Each year seven regions in Massachusetts hold middle and high school science and engineering fairs. The fairs are always looking for scientists and teachers to help out with judging the student projects. Steve Cohen has been working with the Worcester (Central Mass) region for almost twenty years, and have found it a very rewarding experience. This is a great way for scientists to get involved with a wonderful local educational activity. For more information go to the Websites below. And Steve would be happy to answer any questions you might have about the fairs.
